The root of Korean red ginseng is part of a short and twisted plant, which has been used in the East since ancient times as a medicinal panacea to cure a multitude of conditions. It owes its properties, among others, to its richness in saponin glycosides called "Gingenosides". It is a powerful nervous stimulant as it increases the time of resistance to fatigue, improves tolerance to cold, is hypoglycemic (increases insulin production and regulates glycogen formation) and hypolipidemic (reduces cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood). Indicated in cases of asthenia, stress, mental and physical fatigue, decay, convalescence, anorexia, depression and diabetes.
